About this scholarship
The Texas Advance Commitment is UT Austin's promise to make tuition affordable for Texas resident undergraduates with financial need and family adjusted gross income up to one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars. Beginning fall 2025, residents with AGI up to one hundred thousand dollars receive gift aid covering tuition after federal and state grants are applied; students with AGI between one hundred thousand and one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars receive partial tuition support. There is no separate application beyond submitting FAFSA or TASFA with a complete financial aid file. Awards renew annually based on financial need, full-time status, and Satisfactory Academic Progress toward a first bachelor's degree.
