About this scholarship
The Terry L. Stoudnour Endowed Education Award recognizes an outstanding Messiah University teacher certification candidate planning to teach or hold an educational leadership role. One one thousand dollar award is divided evenly between fall and spring of the senior year. Open to any certification program, the award requires a minimum 3.60 cumulative GPA, junior status, Teacher Education Program admission, and at least forty-five Messiah credits. Applicants submit a resume and essay on qualities of an outstanding educator by noon on the last Thursday in February. Selection considers leadership, service, ethical standards, and academic achievement. This is an add-on award.
