About this scholarship

The Tahoe Award provides five thousand dollars per year to domestic freshmen and transfer students from non-WICHE, non-Nevada states who pursue a first bachelor's degree at the University of Nevada, Reno. Freshmen need a three point zero unweighted cumulative GPA and a completed admissions file with transcripts and ACT, SAT, or placement scores by February fifteenth. Transfer students need a two point five GPA in transferable coursework and at least twenty-four graded transferable credits. Recipients must enroll in fifteen in-person credits each fall and spring and enroll by June fifteenth. The award renews up to four years for freshmen and three for transfers while maintaining out-of-state residency and federal SAP.
