About this scholarship
This Trinity Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students with financial need whose legal residence at the time of application is within North Carolina. Trinity Scholarships honor Duke's origins as Trinity College and recognize academically outstanding, community-engaged Carolina students. There is no separate application; candidates are considered automatically from the Duke admission application and financial aid materials. Finalists are notified in the spring and interviewed before selection. Recipients join the Trinity and Alumni Endowed Scholars community with faculty mentoring and receive tuition, mandatory fees, room, and board for four years of full-time study.
