About this scholarship
SUNY Polytechnic Institute's NSF S-STEM program provides scholarships and support for talented low-income undergraduates in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering Technology. Scholars receive multi-year funding toward unmet need plus cohort programming, mentoring, professional development, and experiential learning opportunities. Applicants must complete the SUNY Poly admissions application, submit the online S-STEM Scholars application, and file a FAFSA listing SUNY Poly. Eligible students must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents with demonstrated unmet financial need; transfer students may receive up to two years of support while freshmen may receive up to four years.
