About this scholarship

The Summit Engineering Scholarship Program at the University of St. Thomas provides up to $10,000 per year for academically talented engineering transfer students from U.S. two-year colleges with unmet financial need, funded by APi, Xcel Energy, and private donors. Pell-grant-eligible students transferring from four-year colleges may also qualify. Students who complete the FAFSA and list engineering as their intended major upon admission are automatically considered; priority goes to admitted students with a complete FAFSA on file by June 1. Recipients must major in civil, computer, electrical, or mechanical engineering, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and file the FAFSA each year.
