About this scholarship
The NOVA Student Success Fund provides scholarships and emergency grants to Northern Virginia Community College students facing financial barriers that threaten continued enrollment. Administered by the Office of Financial Stability and Advocacy through the NOVA Educational Foundation, the fund supports tuition, fees, books, housing, transportation, childcare, medical bills, and other basic needs for academically successful but financially challenged students. During the 2023-24 academic year the foundation made two hundred sixty-four awards totaling more than two hundred five thousand dollars. Students apply through the Student Success Fund application linked from the financial stability webpage when funds are available.
