About this scholarship
The Student Leadership Academy Service Scholarship offers up to twenty-three awards annually to Lansing Community College students who want leadership and community service experience alongside their primary program of study. Recipients enroll in a two-credit LEAD course each fall and spring, serve on a college committee, participate in service projects, and complete an individual service project. Selection uses GPA, personal statements, and service history submitted through the General Scholarship Application due January 31. The two-year award provides two thousand three hundred dollars per fall and spring semester.
