About this scholarship
Full-tuition scholarship given each spring to four outstanding graduating seniors from Waltham High School in Brandeis's hometown of Waltham, Massachusetts, who are accepted to Brandeis University. Created in 1996 by philanthropists Samuel and Althea Stroum, the award has supported more than one hundred Waltham students. Recipients are selected for high academic achievement and community contributions. The scholarship covers full tuition for four years of undergraduate study at Brandeis when renewal requirements are met.
