About this scholarship
Professional promise scholarship for fourth-year Carnegie Mellon B.Arch students interested in architectural practice after graduation. Established in memory of architect Stewart L. Brown and juried by AIA Pittsburgh chapter leadership. Applicants submit a two-hundred-word professional practice statement, anonymous resume, and anonymous eleven-by-seventeen portfolio up to twenty-five pages. Up to four finalists interview; spring twenty twenty-six awards are four thousand dollars first place and three thousand dollars for up to two runners-up. Applications open during announced spring cycles through SlideRoom.
