About this scholarship
For a UBC law student who needs financial assistance, with preference for a student with a medical or physical disability.
A $5,150 bursary is available through an endowment established by the Law Class of 1984 in memory of classmate Steven Volrich. The award is adjudicated by the Committee on Awards for Students with Disabilities.
His classmates established the bursary to honour the courage he showed in his battle with cancer.
