About this scholarship
The Stanley R. and Rosemary H. Jones STEM Scholarship Fund provides financial support to one incoming JMU freshman who is Honors College eligible, a Virginia in-state resident with financial need, and majoring in computer science, engineering, ISAT, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, physics, geoscience, or biology. Preference is given to first-generation and underrepresented students in qualifying STEM majors. The scholarship renews for three years while geographic, need, and major criteria are met and the student remains in good academic standing. Applicants must complete the Second Century Scholarship application in the Madison Scholarships Hub to be considered for this related Jones endowment.
