About this scholarship
Mount Mercy's Social Work Scholarship provides one thousand dollars per year to incoming first-year and transfer students admitted to the social work major who enroll full time. Selection for additional department scholarships may consider academic ability, interest in social work issues, community service, and perspectives that add diversity to the classroom, with a separate application deadline of February 1 while funding remains available. Recipients must remain in the social work program and maintain at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA to renew the award.
