About this scholarship
The Short Term Workforce Development Grant at Cape Fear Community College provides up to $750 in financial assistance to North Carolina resident students who enroll in noncredit short-term workforce training programs leading to an industry-recognized credential on the NC Workforce Credentials List at the Essential or Career level. Awards are first-come, first-served and support pathways that may consist of a single continuing education course or a series of courses with employer demand and competitive wages. Students must meet NC residency requirements verified through the NC Residency Determination Service. Contact workforceinfo@cfcc.edu for the current application.
