About this scholarship
SCU Need-based Grants are university-funded awards for first-year Santa Clara undergraduates with demonstrated financial need, supported by donor scholarships and the Santa Clara Fund. Recipients are selected at admission based on FAFSA and CSS Profile information. FAFSA is required annually for renewal and the CSS Profile is required at initial awarding. Award amounts vary and may change each year. Grants renew for twelve consecutive academic quarters while students maintain satisfactory academic progress and full-time enrollment. Awards coordinate with federal, state, and other institutional aid and apply only to degree-applicable courses.
