Science Students' Association Alexandre Sabourin Scholarship for the Arts and the Community

Full-time undergraduate Faculty of Science students at the University of Ottawa (Canadian citizens, permanent residents, protected or refugee status holders, or international students) who are enrolled for the coming Fall term, in good academic standing, and demonstrate excellence in artistic endeavours and community involvement (visual art, writing, music, drama, dance, or similar) may apply.

The award is valued at a minimum of $500.

Apply through Online Scholarships and Bursaries in uoZone with a minimum 250-word impact letter, unofficial transcript, and references by November 3.

Alexandre Sabourin studied geology at the Faculty of Science and was involved in drama and improvisation. He passed away in September 2003 from a pulmonary embolism. This Science Students' Association scholarship honours his memory and his devotion to the arts and community.
