About this scholarship

The Samsung American Legion Scholarship awards up to $10,000 for undergraduate study to high school juniors participating in the current session of American Legion Boys State or Auxiliary Girls State who are direct descendants or legally adopted children of U.S. military veterans who served honorably on active duty during a congressionally defined period of war. Applicants must complete the online form before 11:59 p.m. local time on day one of their respective Boys State or Girls State program.
