About this scholarship
The Saginaw Valley State University Opportunity Grant supports first-time-in-college and transfer undergraduates with demonstrated financial need who complete the FAFSA. Awards range from five hundred to seven thousand dollars based on need and any incoming academic scholarships received. On-campus students may receive up to six thousand dollars plus an additional fifteen hundred dollars for housing for up to two years. President's, Saginaw Award for Excellence, and Founder's recipients are ineligible. First-time students may renew up to three additional years by maintaining a 2.0 GPA and full-time progress.
