Ruth Halliday Johnson Scholarships

Memorial University entrance students who graduated from a Canadian high school may receive the Harrison McCain Scholarship/Bursary. Each award is $4,000 per year over four years ($16,000 total). Criteria include a minimum 80% senior-year average, financial need, leadership qualities, and initiative in funding your own education. The number of awards may vary; renewal criteria apply each year. A separate application is required. This award places a strong emphasis on financial need.

For undergraduate students entering first year in the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary who show academic merit and financial need. Recipients must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and residents of Alberta. Up to three bursaries of up to $9,000 each are offered annually.
