About this scholarship
The Harju Center Rural Student Teaching Scholarship provides $4,000 to UW-Stevens Point teacher candidates completing student teaching in a Wisconsin school district designated as rural by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Applicants submit an online form with an essay explaining their fit for the award and how rural student teaching supports their career goals, plus two professional letters of recommendation including one from an education professor.
