About this scholarship

The Rogers Scholars Scholarship recognizes University of Kentucky incoming freshmen who completed the Center for Rural Development's Rogers Scholars leadership program in southern and eastern Kentucky. Eligible students apply for UK admission by December 1 and are automatically considered for a one-thousand-dollar-per-year, four-year renewable scholarship with no additional application. Recipients must meet UK admission criteria, enroll full-time each semester beginning the fall after high school graduation, and maintain a 3.0 UK cumulative GPA. The Rogers award can stack with the Provost Scholarship unless the student receives an equal or higher academic scholarship, in which case only one academic scholarship is retained.
