About this scholarship
The Rodeo Austin Scholarship at Texas State University provides $4,000 per year ($16,000 total) to competitively selected incoming freshmen pursuing a business major who demonstrate leadership, financial need, and strong academic performance. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA, rank in the top twenty-five percent of their graduating class, and graduate from a Texas high school, with preference for students who participated in Rodeo Austin activities. Apply for admission and submit the BOSS freshman scholarship application by December 15. Renewal requires a 2.5 cumulative Texas State GPA, twelve credit hours per semester, and submitting required documents to the donor each year.
