About this scholarship
The Robert C. Massengill Scholarship at Cape Fear Community College provides $600 to selected students in the Electrical Apprenticeship Level 1 course to help finance tools essential to the electrical trade. The Cape Fear Electrical Contractors Association established the fund in 2020 in memory of Robert C. Massengill, a longtime Wilmington electrical contractor. Students in eligible continuing education workforce programs apply through the CFCC Continuing Education Scholarship application listed on the Economic and Workforce Development financial assistance page alongside other job-training scholarships.
