About this scholarship
The Richard C. Burke Study Abroad Fund for Westover Fellows helps University of Lynchburg honors students afford one study abroad trip during their time in the Westover program. Priority goes to seniors who are first-generation college students or face financial barriers to study abroad, followed by juniors, sophomores, and first-year Westover Fellows with similar need who have not yet traveled abroad. The fund was created by Westover Honors Dean Dr. Beth Savage in honor of Professor Emeritus Dr. Richard Burke. Contributions go directly toward student study abroad fees.
