About this scholarship
The Regents' Scholarship for non-resident freshmen at the University of New Mexico Main campus provides approximately twenty-four thousand dollars per year covering base tuition, fees, and housing, plus a tuition waiver adjusting non-resident tuition to New Mexico resident rates. The award renews for four years. Applicants must complete the admissions and scholarship application by December 2 with a minimum 3.90 unweighted cumulative GPA. Freshman Regents' Scholars must complete fifteen new credit hours with a 3.3 GPA each semester and live in the Scholars Wing in Hokona Hall during the freshman year.
