About this scholarship
The Regents Merit Scholarship is a university-funded merit award for entering first-year undergraduates who graduated from a Michigan high school. Recipients receive a one-time payment during their first year only; the award is not renewable. Students must enroll at UM-Ann Arbor for the fall term immediately following high school graduation and remain continuously enrolled full-time to receive and retain the scholarship. Eligibility is determined automatically during the admissions process with no separate scholarship application required.
