About this scholarship
The Ramon L. Ruiz, D.M.D., M.D. Endowed Scholarship supports College of Arts and Sciences students planning postgraduate medical or dental education. At least one $5,000 award is made each spring for use during the upcoming academic year. Junior or senior undergraduates and graduate students in Biological Sciences, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Neuroscience, or Psychology may apply through FS4U. Applicants need a 3.5 GPA or higher, a 500-to-1000-word essay on medical or dental education plans, and one letter of recommendation from an FSU faculty member or mentor.
