About this scholarship
Quad Undergraduate Research Scholars receive competitive grants of $5,000 to support faculty-driven undergraduate research or creative inquiry for an entire academic year at the University of Chicago. College students apply after identifying or beginning research with a faculty mentor, instructional professor, or formally appointed senior scholar at a UChicago institute such as the Smart Museum, Court Theatre, or Franke Institute. Scholars participate in CCRF programming, build a cross-disciplinary research community, and present at the annual Undergraduate Research Symposium. Applications are accepted near the start of Autumn and Winter Quarters and are not reviewed on a rolling basis.
