For current PhD students (within six months of defense), postdoctoral trainees within one year of the PhD, or recent graduates within one year of the PhD whose research advances the lives of children and youth with disabilities, developmental differences, or acquired injuries, and their families and communities. Three prizes are awarded: $3,000 for first place, $2,000 for second, and $1,000 for third. Finalists are judged on academic excellence, research potential, knowledge translation, and research productivity.
Submit the application form to BRISymposium@hollandbloorview.ca. The Pursuit Awards are supported by The Ward Family Foundation through Holland Bloorview's Bloorview Research Institute.
