About this scholarship
The Proven Achievers Scholarship at Texas Tech University recognizes high-achieving transfer students with at least 60 transferable GPA hours and a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA. Recipients receive $4,000 per year applied toward fall and spring tuition, renewable for up to three consecutive years when they maintain a 3.25 GPA and earn at least 12 credit hours each term. Non-residents who receive this award qualify for in-state tuition rates. Students are automatically considered upon transfer admission; fall entry requires transcripts by July 31 and spring entry by January 15. AP, CLEP, and military credits do not count toward eligible transferable hours.
