Promise Plus Free Tuition covers the full cost of tuition for eligible new freshman Minnesota residents whose family income is fifty thousand dollars or less, complementing federal, state, and University grants. Students enrolling full time at any University of Minnesota campus are automatically reviewed after submitting the FAFSA alongside their admission application. The program guarantees tuition coverage for four consecutive years while eligibility criteria are met. It covers tuition only, not fees, housing, books, or other cost-of-attendance components.
