About this scholarship
UAB's Presidential Elite Scholarship is the highest automatic out-of-state freshman merit award, reserved for admitted high school seniors with a 4.0 GPA and top ACT or SAT scores on the published out-of-state chart. Students are considered from their admission application when they apply by the out-of-state scholarship deadline, with no separate scholarship form required. The renewable award requires full-time enrollment in a first baccalaureate program at UAB and may continue for up to four years if renewal requirements are met.
