About this scholarship
The President's Leadership Class Scholarship at Northwestern Oklahoma State University supports selected incoming freshmen with $1,000 toward tuition and $1,750 toward other university expenses for the freshman year only, plus an all-expense-paid trip to a major U.S. city with the university president and other PLC members. Applicants submit the PLC application postmarked by March 23, a seven-semester transcript with ACT or SAT scores, one letter of recommendation, and a general scholarship application on file before the deadline; finalists interview on campus or via Skype in late March and early April. Selected students must attend classes on the Alva campus and participate in the summer PLC trip before fall semester. Notification is sent by mid-April with a signed commitment letter due May 3.
