About this scholarship
Competitive one-time scholarship for transfer students who were active Phi Theta Kappa members at their community college and are admitted to NIU's University Honors Program. Recipients receive one thousand dollars in their first year when enrolled full time. Minimum eligibility includes a 3.5 cumulative transfer GPA and active PTK membership. Students are automatically considered when they submit a University Honors Program application by November 1 for spring transfer or March 1 for fall transfer. Selection considers leadership, service, and engagement in the PTK chapter.
