Peter and Basya Hunter Award

York University LA&PS full-time students who have completed at least 48 credits, hold a minimum 6.00 cumulative GPA, and have taken or will take courses in women's literary studies, peace studies, or both. Recipients must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons, Ontario residents, and demonstrate financial need. Preference goes to McLaughlin College students.

The award is valued at $600. Apply by completing your FAAS profile, with attention to the financial section. Recipients are selected from those who meet the criteria and show need.

The bursary was endowed in memory of Peter and Basya Hunter, who dedicated their lives to social justice.
