About this scholarship
Transfer merit scholarship for incoming Wayne State University students with at least 24 transferable credit hours and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher from all institutions attended. Wayne State automatically considers eligible transfer applicants when admission materials are submitted by the term deadline, including July 1, 2026 for fall 2026 entry. The Pathway Award provides $1,000 per year for up to four semesters within two consecutive years. Recipients must maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA, full-time enrollment, and satisfactory academic progress to retain the award.
