About this scholarship
Passage 2 Success Scholarships award at least ten first-generation Wichita State freshmen between $8,000 and $20,000 over four years through the Distinguished Scholarship Invitational. Recipients must complete the FAFSA by Wichita State's April 1 priority date or provide a separate financial-need statement if FAFSA-ineligible. Selected students are required to participate in the Passage 2 Success Program. Competition applicants must be high school seniors admitted to WSU, submit materials by November 8, and meet DSI academic eligibility. Notification occurs in April. The program combines merit competition with structured support for first-generation Shockers entering any major.
