About this scholarship
Merit scholarship for students admitted to WMU with a declared pre-paper-engineering major and verified math eligibility to enroll in PAPR 1000, awarded on a first-come, first-served basis among forty annual recipients. For students entering fall 2025 and later, four-year schedules provide ten thousand dollars at a 3.85 GPA, nine thousand at 3.60, eight thousand at 3.30, and six thousand at 3.00, plus a one-thousand-dollar introductory fall award. Renewal requires full-time paper engineering enrollment, a 3.0 overall GPA, engagement activities, U.S. or Canadian citizenship, and an industry internship or co-op before the fourth-year award. List paper engineering as your intended major on the admission application by June 1.
