About this scholarship

Mount Mercy's Out-of-State Grant provides up to three thousand five hundred dollars per year to need-based undergraduate students whose legal residence is outside Iowa. Students must file the FAFSA so Mount Mercy can determine eligibility from expected family contribution and financial need calculations. The grant renews annually when recipients file the FAFSA by the July 1 priority deadline, demonstrate continued need, and maintain satisfactory academic progress. It is awarded in addition to Mount Mercy academic scholarships and may be combined with federal Pell Grants or other aid programs for which the student qualifies.
