About this scholarship
The Opportunity Award program provides merit scholarships to entering freshmen with outstanding high school records at Texas A&M University College Station. Selection weighs academic achievement, activities, leadership, and sometimes financial need. Stipends generally range from one hundred to fifteen thousand dollars per year for one to four years, and Texas A&M does not stack multiple Opportunity Awards. Prospective students apply through Common App or ApplyTexas, complete the Self-Reported Transcript Academic Record, and submit a financial aid application for need-based consideration. Multi-year recipients must meet renewal requirements each year and cannot defer multi-year awards.
