About this scholarship
The Open Door Scholarship at the University of North Dakota provides one-time financial assistance to degree-seeking undergraduate, graduate, or professional students who have exhausted federal financial aid, Graduate PLUS loans, and private educational loans. Applicants must complete the FAFSA when eligible, demonstrate financial need, be enrolled for the current semester, and remain in good academic standing. Students cannot have received other emergency assistance such as the Angel Fund in the same academic year. Submit the Open Door Scholarship application through One-Stop; UND Student Finance reviews requests individually within ten to fifteen business days.
