About this scholarship
The Oklahoma Rising Scholars Award at Northwestern Oklahoma State University provides 16 hours of tuition per semester, a semi-private dorm room, and $3,200 cash each year for high-achieving Oklahoma resident freshmen. Eligible students need at least a 3.8 high school cumulative GPA, a 30 composite ACT on a national test, and must rank in the top four percent of their graduating class or rank first or second in the class. Applicants complete the Freshman Scholarship Application by May 15 and submit transcript and ACT verification to the Registry Office. This four-year academic award requires annual reapplication because NWOSU scholarships are not automatically renewed.
