Obiter Dicta Bursary

Osgoode Hall Law School JD students who demonstrate financial need may be considered. A portion of the endowment was matched by the Ontario government through the Ontario Opportunity Trust Fund and is restricted to Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are Ontario residents.

The bursary amount varies and is given annually. Apply through the Osgoode bursary application.

Staff of Osgoode's student newspaper established the bursary in 2002/2003, investing that year's profit to assist the Osgoode community, with the hope that future editors would continue contributing.
