About this scholarship
The NSM Scholarship Program at the University of Houston supports incoming freshmen and continuing undergraduate and graduate students majoring in natural sciences and mathematics departments. One application each year covers all NSM endowment scholarships for which a student qualifies, with awards ranging from fifteen hundred to five thousand dollars depending on donor criteria and fund availability. Need-based awards require FAFSA data on file with UH Financial Aid; merit awards consider GPA and extracurricular criteria. Continuing undergraduates need at least one completed UH long semester, good standing, and twenty-four or more credits remaining in their degree program.
