About this scholarship
The Nebraska Legacy Tuition Scholarship provides fourteen thousand dollars per year toward UNL undergraduate tuition for up to four years to out-of-state first-year students who are children of University of Nebraska alumni. Selection confirms parent alumnus status and requires at least a three point zero cumulative high school GPA under Board of Regents policy defining alumni children as natural born or legally adopted children of graduates. Apply by November first with a May first final deadline. Awards prorate below fifteen credits per semester and cannot stack with a standard New Nebraskan Scholarship. Renewal requires a three point zero GPA and twenty-four credit hours annually.
