About this scholarship
The Nebraska Good Life Opportunities Program provides a full tuition scholarship at UNK for up to 120 credit hours to students committed to public service careers in government or public administration. The program is a partnership between UNK and the University of Nebraska at Omaha that prepares undergraduates for city management, urban planning, nonprofit leadership, and related fields, with guaranteed admission to UNO's Master of Public Administration upon maintaining a 3.5 GPA at UNK. Applicants must be admitted to UNK, hold a minimum 3.5 high school GPA, and complete the program application with two essays and two reference letters by December 1. Participants receive mentorship, ICMA membership, internships, and two field study courses.
