About this scholarship

Annual nationwide arts recognition program for students in pre-K through grade 12. Students create original works in dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts reflecting the annual theme, advancing from local PTA units through council, district, and state levels to national review. Outstanding Interpretation Award winners receive an $800 Young Artist Scholarship; Award of Excellence winners receive $200. The 2026-27 theme is What My Culture Means to Me.
