About this scholarship
The National Merit University of Minnesota Scholarship provides two thousand dollars each year for four years to eligible National Merit Finalists who declare the University of Minnesota Twin Cities as their first-choice college by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation deadline. Finalists must not be eligible for a National Merit corporate-sponsored scholarship or the National Merit twenty-five hundred dollar scholarship. The University is a college sponsor of the National Merit Scholarship Program, and no separate U of M scholarship application is required beyond the admission application.
