About this scholarship
The University of Memphis National Merit Finalist and Semi-Finalist Scholarship supports high-achieving first-time freshmen who earn National Merit recognition. Tennessee residents and non-resident U.S. citizens are considered from the admission application when they apply by the December priority date. The published award is up to fifteen thousand dollars per year, including ten thousand dollars toward tuition and fees and five thousand dollars toward on-campus housing only. The scholarship renews for up to three additional years while recipients maintain full-time enrollment, good academic standing, and required service hours.
