John L. Burbridge established this scholarship in honor of his wife Nancy Shelley Burbridge, a UND BSN graduate who built a distinguished pediatrics career at the University of Minnesota Hospital. The endowment provides annual funding for one or more University of North Dakota nursing students with interest in pediatrics. Nursing majors apply through UND Scholarship Central during the October 1 through March 1 window and are automatically matched when they meet criteria.
